Bōlún 波崙 was a Tang-period śramaṇa of the Fúshòusì 福壽寺 (Felicity-and-Longevity Monastery), known only from his preface to the Bùkōng juànsuǒ tuóluóní jīng 不空羂索陀羅尼經 (KR6j0304, T20n1096), the translation of Lǐ Wúchǎn (李無諂) completed in Shènglì 3 (700). The preface — 不空羂索陀羅尼經序,福壽寺沙門波崙撰 — celebrates the doctrinal scope of the Amoghapāśa cycle and provides a condensed introduction to the cult, but supplies no biographical information beyond Bōlún’s monastic affiliation and his travels between the two capitals (兩京) of the Tang.
