Tōzan Tanshō 東山湛照 (1231–1291) — Kamakura-period Japanese Rinzai-Zen master, dharma-heir of 圓爾 Enni Ben’en, posthumous title Hōgaku Zenji 寶覺禪師 (“Treasure-Awakened Zen Master”). Active in the Tōfuku-ji 東福寺 lineage. Recorded Sayings preserved as the Hōgaku Zenji goroku 寶覺禪師語錄 (KR6t0251, T80n2545).
