Late-Míng Buddhist monk; sobriquet Tàixū 太虛 / Dàxūxiàng 大虗相. DILA Authority A001624. Lifedates unrecorded; productive period in the Wànlì 萬曆 era (1573–1620). Resident at the Guǎnglíng Bǎochéngsì 廣陵寶城寺 (Guǎnglíng = literary name for Yángzhōu 揚州 in Jiāngsū). Author of the Fǎhuá jīng dàyì 法華經大意 (KR6d0075, X31n0609, 3 juan) — a Lotus Sūtra synoptic exposition.
Note: distinct from the Táng monk Wúxiàng of Fúzhōu Xiāngsīsì 涪州相思寺 (DILA A006942), who appears in the Sòng gāosēng zhuàn with the gǎntōng (resonance-and-penetration) hagiographical attribution.
