Xióng Kǎi 熊凱, zì Shùnfū 舜夫, of Nánchāng 南昌, known in his lifetime as Yáoxī xiānshēng 遥溪先生. A Yuán-period míngjīng private-school teacher who instructed in the Classics for some forty years; teacher of his fellow townsman 熊良輔 Xióng Liángfǔ (the author of Zhōuyì běnyì jíchéng KR1a0079). Author of an Yì zhuàn jí shū 易傳集疏, no longer extant; this work was confused by Huáng Yújì 黃虞稷’s Qiānqǐngtáng shūmù with Xióng Liángfǔ’s Jíchéng, an attribution corrected by the Sìkù editors.
