Xióng Gāngdà 熊剛大 (Sòng), native of Jiànyáng 建陽 (Fújiàn). Studied under Cài Yuān 蔡淵 and Huáng Gàn 黃榦 (both senior ZhūXī disciples); calls himself Juéxuānménrén 覺軒門人 (in reference to Cài Yuān’s hào Juéxuān). Jìnshì of Jiādìng era; held charge of the Jiànān shūyuàn 建安書院 academy where Zhū Xī and other late-Sòng Confucian sages were ritually venerated (cóng sì). His commentary references Lǐzōng’s recent imperial gift of the Báilùdòng guī 白鹿洞規 to Nánkāng 南康, dating it to the Lǐzōng reign (1224–1264). His main extant work is the annotation of Xióng Jié’s Xìnglǐ qúnshū jùjiě 性理群書句解 (KR3a0067). CBDB id 11823, no dates.
