Xióng Liángfǔ 熊良輔, zì Rènzhòng 任重, hào Méibiān 梅邊, was a Yuán-dynasty Yìjīng scholar from Nánchāng 南昌. According to his own preface to the Zhōuyì běnyì jíchéng 周易本義集成 (KR1a0079), he studied with Xióng Kǎi 熊凱 (Yáoxī xiānsheng 遥溪先生) of his own district in his youth and later, in the dàdé rényín 大德壬寅 year (1302), refined his learning under Gōng Quánfēng 龔泉峰 in the foothills of Mount Quán 泉山. He passed the provincial examination (xiānggòng 鄉貢) in the yánvyòu 延祐 fourth year (1317, dīngsì 丁巳), under the second iteration of the Yuán’s revived examination system; his subsequent official career is not securely documented. The catalog conflation by Huáng Yújì 黃虞稷 in the Qiānqǐng táng shūmù 千頃堂書目 — which attributed an Yì zhuàn jí shū 易傳集疏 to him — is corrected by the Sìkù editors, who identify that work as Xióng Kǎi’s; the Sìkù notice is the principal source for what is known of him.
The Jíchéng preface is dated zhìzhì rénxū 至治壬戌 (1322), giving a fixed terminus a quo for that work, but it indicates the manuscript was substantially complete by zhìdà xīnhài 至大辛亥 (1311) and only printed later when his colleagues underwrote the cost.
