Wáng Yúnfèng 王云鳳 (also 王雲鳳, 1465–1518), Yìngsháo 應韶, hào Hǔgǔ 虎谷, native of Héshùn 和順 in Shānxī. Jìnshì of the Chénghuà era (1487), he served successively as imperial censor (御史), Shǎnxī ànchásī fùshǐ 陝西按察司副使, and held the imperial commission fèngchì tíxué 奉勅提學. He composed the xùyī (序一, “First Preface”) to the 1506 Zhèngdé edition of the paediatric Yīngtóng bǎiwèn 嬰童百問 (KR3ej006), signed at the Zhèngxué shūyuàn 正學書院 Jièjùzhāi 戒懼齋 study. He was a noted neo-Confucian scholar with a substantial wénjí literary collection and a close associate of the editor-publisher Guō family who brought the Yīngtóng bǎiwèn into print.
