Mid-Yuán official of Dōnglǔ 東魯 (eastern Shāndōng); Tōngyì dàfū Yānnán Héběi dào tíxíng àncháshǐ 通議大夫燕南河北道提刑按察使 (Pacification Commissioner for Yānnán and Héběi). He wrote the principal preface to 李杲 Lǐ Dōngyuán’s KR3er120 Dōngyuán shìxiào fāng in Zhìyuán 17 / 1280, for the Yuán court reprint of the 1266 Luó Tiānyì editio princeps. The preface gives one of the most-cited summary statements of Lǐ Dōngyuán’s clinical method (míngjīng / biémài / shízhèng / chǔfāng).
