Wáng Dàlóng 王大隆 (1901–1966), Xīnfū 欣夫, leading Republican / early-PRC bibliographic philologist and SBCK series editor. Native of Wújiāng 吳江 (Sūzhōu, Jiāngsū). Disciple of the late-Qīng-Republican literatus Wú Méi 吳梅 in -lyric studies, and senior bibliographer at the Commercial Press’s Sìbù cóngkān 四部叢刊 publishing program in Shanghai through the 1920s-1940s.

Wáng’s SBCK editorial contributions include the jíwài shīwén (recovery of poems and prose not in the original recension) supplements to multiple late-Míng / early-Qīng biéjí recensions, including the Jūyìtáng jí 居易堂集 of 徐枋 (KR4f0021) where Wáng supplied the supplementary apparatus drawn from later Qīng-Republican manuscript witnesses of Xú’s writings that had circulated outside the original PānLěi recension. Wáng’s most influential single work is the Wénxiàn xué jiǎngyì 文獻學講義 — the foundational Republican-era textbook of Chinese bibliographical-philological method, posthumously published in 1986.
