Wáng Xīcháo 王希巢 ( Yǐnxián 隱賢) was a late-Southern-Sòng Daoist master of the Chóngxū guàn 崇虛觀 in Miǎnzhōu 綿州 (modern Miányáng, Sìchuān). His single surviving work is a three-juàn commentary on the Jiǔtiān shēngshén zhāngjīng KR5b0002, the Dòngxuán língbǎo zìrán jiǔtiān shēngshén yùzhāng jīng jiě KR5b0081 (DZ 397), dated 1205 — composed at the suggestion of a certain Rèn Xiánliáng 任仙亮 who found the earlier explanations of a Yùchán zǐ 玉蟾子 (surnamed Zhào 趙) inadequate. Zhào Xībiàn’s 趙希弁 supplement to the Jùnzhāi dúshū zhì notes that Wáng’s book once circulated with a preface by Chéng Gōngxū 程公許 (fl. 1211) and a colophon by Zhào Rìxiū 趙日休, both now lost. Wáng’s commentary is cited by Dǒng Sījìng 董思靖 in DZ 396 as the Shǔ zhù 蜀註 (“Sichuan commentary”), and is the principal source drawn upon by Huáyáng fù 華陽復 in DZ 398. No CBDB record.
