Wáng Rǔqiān 王汝謙 (hào Jìngtáng 鏡堂, fl. mid – late 19th c., Jīngdé 旌德 / Ānhuī) — late-Qīng physician; supplementer-annotator and 1891 (Guāngxù 17) editor of the Yīzōng jǐrèn biān 醫宗己任編 (KR3er067). His preface narrates the loss of his early childhood copy in the Tàipíng 太平 (Taiping) conflict and the subsequent 30-year reliance on Gāo Gǔfēng’s methods (recalled from memory) in his own clinical practice, before a recovered manuscript surfaced in a Jīngdé bookshop. He supplied the méipī 眉批 head-of-page annotations representing his disciple-circle’s clinical discussions.
This Wáng Rǔqiān is distinct from the Jiāqìng-era Wáng Rǔqiān (1777–1855, CBDB 71621); not in CBDB under his own record.
