Wáng Guàn 王瓘 (d. ~924) was a late-Táng official and Daoist hagiographer, zhǔbù 主簿 (county registrar) of Jìn’ānxiàn 晉安縣 in Lángzhōu 閬州 (modern Sìchuān). His attested work — [[KR5a0302|Guǎng Huángdì běnxíng jì 廣黃帝本行記]] (DZ 290), presented to the throne in 881 — is the third and final juan of an annal in three juan listed in Sòng catalogues under the title Guǎng Xuányuán běnjì 廣軒轅本紀, the complete work being preserved in Yúnjí qīqiān 雲笈七籤 100.2b–32a (which is in turn reproduced in [[KR5a0308|DZ 296 Lìshì zhēnxiān tǐdào tōngjiàn 1.1a–27b]]). The CBDB death year of 924 (estimated by Tackett, cf. Bǔyí Qiāntáng zhì 補遺千唐志 395–396; Xīn Hénán 新河南 vol. 3, lower 248–249) places his working life in the final decades of the Táng. Wáng Guàn is a homophone of several other Sòng-period figures of the same name; the present figure is to be distinguished from those.
