Wáng Dàoyuān 王道淵 (fl. mid-14th century, late Yuán to early Míng), hào Húnránzǐ 混然子, native of Xiūjiāng 修江 in Nánchāng 南昌 (Jiāngxī). YuánMíng transition Quánzhēn / Lóngmén Daoist commentator. Author of the Yīnfú jīng zhù 陰符經注 (commonly bound with Zhāng Guǒ’s Táng commentary; cf. KR5i0031) and the standard Tài shàng dào dé bǎo zhāng 太上道德寶章 commentary. His commentaries are the bridge between SòngYuán Quánzhēn inner-alchemy and Míng-period reception, and underlie the late-Míng / Qīng common print recensions. CBDB ID 286304 has no dates, but the absence of a YuánSòng dynasty marker and presence in late-Yuán Dàozàng materials place him in the Húnyuán transition era. Húnránzǐ is also the customary hào of the Sòng Quánzhēn lineage; the conflation has historically caused confusion.
