Wáng Luán 王鑾 (zì Wénróng 文融, hào Rónghú 容湖), Míng-period paediatrician active in the Hóngzhì to Jiājìng eras (c. 1502–1534), of Wūchéng 烏程 (modern Wúxīng 吳興, Zhèjiāng). Bearer of a multi-generation family medical practice with paediatric specialism. Compiler of Yòukē lèicuì 幼科類萃 (KR3ej014) in 28 juǎn, organising paediatric disorders into 26 categories from neonatal disorders through smallpox. The work was published with a preface by Lǐ Lián 李濂 of Sōngzhǔ 嵩渚 dated 嘉靖十三年甲午冬十一月朔 = 1534.11.06. The work’s intellectual foundation lies in the Nèijīng, Nánjīng, and Shānghán lùn canon, integrated with the QiánYǐ paediatric tradition and the four great masters of the JīnYuán synthesis.
