Ruìzhāng 瑞璋 (lifedates unknown, fl. mid-Qīng), Qīng-dynasty Pure-Land monk; details of school affiliation and home-temple are not recorded in the catalog tradition. According to the editorial preface of his work, he was a Pure-Land practitioner who collected biographical materials documenting the rebirth-omens of the zhū shàngshànrén 諸上善人 (“various superior persons”) — i.e., the canonical Pure-Land worthies — and prepared the resulting collection for printing in order to share it with his fellow members of the Liánshè 蓮社 (Lotus Society). The work’s title 《西舫彙征》 Xīfǎng huìzhēng (KR6r0082, X78 no. 1551, 2 juan) — “Gathered Voyages of the Western Skiff” — is a poetic reference to a verse by an ancient master (“In the busy ferry-crossing of life and death, Amitābha sets the saving boat in motion”). Per DILA Buddhist Person Authority A001457.
