Huángfǔ Péng 皇甫朋 was a Táng-period Daoist of whom little independent biographical data survives. He is named in the Daoist canon as the author of the 序 (preface) to KR5b0285 (Xuánpǔshān língmí mìlù 玄圃山靈[匚@金]祕錄). The preface narrates a long transmission-history of the title from Xiàpī xiānshēng 下邳先生 (Master from Xiàpī) through Zhāng Liáng 張良 (i.e. Zǐfáng 子房), Lǐ Guǎnglì 李廣利, Fèi Chángfáng 費長房, and onward to Daoist masters at various sacred mountains — making it a paradigmatic xiányìn 仙隱 (“immortal hidden”) text. No precise lifedates are recoverable; the Schipper & Verellen catalogue (Taoist Canon 2: 358, Catherine Despeux) places him in the Táng.
