Qí Hóngyuán 祁宏源 (fl. early Qiánlóng, 清), grandson of the early-Qīng Imperial Physician 祁坤 (author of KR3ek011 Wàikē dà chéng, 1665). Qí Hóngyuán served on the editorial commission of the imperially commissioned Yīzōng jīnjiàn 醫宗金鑑 (completed Qiánlóng 7 = 1742) under 吳謙, heading the surgical compilation team and effectively re-mediating his grandfather’s Wàikē dà chéng as the surgical division of the imperial curriculum (cf.
