Late-Míng layman of Xīnān 新安 (modern Huīzhōu 徽州, southern Ānhuī). Zì Yòngjiǔfǔ 用九甫; hào Mèngshì 夢士 (“Dream-Gentleman”). Also referred to in the source text as Chéng Zhìyòng 程智用 (with 智 / 啟 being alternate characters for the zì-initial syllable). Lifedates unrecorded.
Associate of Ǒuyì Zhìxù 蕅益智旭. Contributed the postface (bá 跋) to Zhìxù’s Pì xié jí 闢邪集 KR6q0190 and served as evaluator (píng 評) of the Tiān xué chū zhēng section. No further biographical material is preserved.
