Chéng Wénhǎi 程文海 (1249–1318), zì Jùfū 鉅夫, hào Xuělóu 雪樓; sometimes also known as Chéng Jùfū 程鉅夫 (avoiding the taboo on Yuán Wǔzōng’s name). An early-Yuán statesman and Hànlín scholar from Jiànchāng 建昌 (modern Jiāngxī). Sent by Khubilai to the south to recruit Sòng-loyalist talent, he was instrumental in bringing 趙孟頫 Zhào Mèngfǔ, 吳澄 Wú Chéng, and other notable southern scholars into Yuán court service. Author of the Xuělóu jí 雪樓集. Wrote prefaces for several Yuán Yì-works including Wáng Shēnzǐ’s Dà Yì jí shuō KR1a0077 (1303).
