Guǎn Shímǐn 管時敏 (active 1378–after 1403), native of Yúnjiān 雲間 (= Sōngjiāng, now Shànghǎi). Twenty-five-year-long household-official of the Chǔwáng 楚王 (Princely Establishment of Chǔ at Wǔchāng, under Zhū Zhēn 朱楨, Hóngwǔ’s sixth son): promoted in succession from jǐshàn 紀善 to zuǒ chángshǐ 左長史 (head of the household-officials). The Yǒnglè 1 (1403) preface to his collection KR4e0051 Yǐnqiào jí 蚓竅集, written by his fellow Chǔfǔ official Hú Cuìzhōng 胡粹中 (then Chǔfǔ yòu chángshǐ 楚府右長史), is the principal external biographical witness. The collection was printed by imperial command of the Chǔwáng in Yǒnglè 1 (1403). Birth-date probably 1340s; death-date post-1403. CBDB id 34390 records the name and Míng dynasty but no dates.
