Luó Dūnyǔ 羅惇曧 (courtesy name 掞東 Shàndōng; studio names 癭公 Yǐnggōng, 癭庵 Yǐng’ān, 倚移居士 Yǐyí Jūshì; also known as 羅惇融 Luó Dūnróng; 1885–1924) was a late-Qīng and early Republican journalist, essayist, literary historian, and informal historian from Guǎngdōng. CBDB (id 82921) confirms his dates as Guāngxù 11 (1885) to Zhōnghuá Mínguó 13 (1924), explicitly noting that an earlier proposed birth year of Tóngzhì 11 (1872) is erroneous.

He studied at Běijīng University (北京大學分科, one of the forerunner institutions of Peking University). He was part of the cultural and journalistic networks of late Qīng and early Republican Guǎngdōng and Beijing intellectual life. His works include Tàipíng Tiānguó Zhànjì 太平天國戰記 (KR4k0234), a historical narrative of the Tàipíng Rebellion based on a manuscript memoir by Wéi Yǐchéng 韋以成 (son of the Tàipíng Northern King Wéi Chānghuī 韋昌輝), rewritten by Luó in polished classical prose. He also authored essays on late-Qīng political and diplomatic history. His pen name 癭公 (the Goiter-man) was widely used in literary circles.
