Niè-shì 聶氏 (“Master Niè”) — an unidentified Six-Dynasties / Northern-Wèi phonological scholar of the Niè 聶 surname, attested only as the author of KR1d0111 Zhōulǐ Niè-shì yīn preserved through Lù Démíng 陸德明’s Jīngdiǎn shìwén citations. The CHANT entry CH2e1075 attributes the work to a personal name “聶龘” — a graphic anomaly (the rare 龘 character is normally a biàn-tǐ variant of 龑) that may represent a transmission corruption of 聶熊 (Niè Xióng) or 聶崇 (Niè Chóng), but no reliable confirmation is available.
He is one of the small set of Six-Dynasties phonological commentators on the Zhōulǐ whose work survives only as Lù-Démíng-citations and whose biographical identity has not been recoverable. No CBDB id assigned; no DILA authority record.
