Hú Tǐng 胡𤥻 / 胡珽 (b. 1821, d. uncertain), late-Qīng Buddhist lay-devotee; zì Tǐngchén 挺臣 / Xīnyún 心耘, hào Liánguī jūshì 蓮歸居士. Layman of the Pure-Land tradition, principal compiler of the 《淨土聖賢錄續編》 Jìngtǔ shèngxián lù xùbiān (KR6r0081, X78 no. 1550, 4 juan) — the continuation of 彭希涑’s Jìngtǔ shèngxián lù (KR6r0080).
The Xùbiān (compiled in the Dàoguāng 道光 reign-period, c. 1830s–1850s) brings the Pure-Land hagiographical record forward from the death of Péng Xīsù in 1793 through to the early-mid nineteenth century. It supplements KR6r0080 with biographies of Qing monks, nuns, lay-men, and lay-women — particularly emphasising the late-Qián-lóng / Jiāqìng / Dàoguāng layperson devotional networks of the JiāngZhè region. The character 𤥻 (= U+24B7B) is a variant orthography of 珽; both are attested in the source and in catalog tradition.
