Àinà Jūshì 艾衲居士 (“The Recluse Clad in Mugwort-Floss”) is the pen name (bǐmíng 筆名 / hào 號) of the author of Dòupéng Xiánhuà 豆棚閒話 (KR4k0101), a collection of twelve linked vernacular tales composed in the early Qīng dynasty (c.1660–1680). The real identity of Àinà Jūshì has not been established with certainty. Proposed candidates in the scholarship include Jiāng Qīngfēn 江清芬 and other Jiāngnán literati active during the Shùnzhì–Kāngxī transition, but no identification commands consensus. Internal evidence in the tales suggests familiarity with Sūzhōu-area culture and society, and a sympathetic — if ironic — engagement with the fate of Míng loyalists. No CBDB record exists for this pen name, and no confident match with a named historical individual has been established.
