Fānghuì 芳慧
A mid-Qīng monk, disciple of 妙能 Miàonéng fǎshī 妙能法師, principally remembered as compiler (biān 編) of the 《淨土承恩集》 Jìngtǔ chéngēn jí KR6p0108 (X1189) — a short hagiographical-pastoral anthology gathering Miàonéng’s Pure Land teachings together with deathbed wǎngshēng 往生 testimonies of practitioners under his guidance, including the monk Chāozōng 超宗 of Chángníngsì 常甯寺 in Ruìyì 瑞邑 (modern Ruì’ān, southeastern Zhèjiāng). Active in the late-Qián-lóng / Jiāqìng / early-Dào-guāng period (c. 1750–1830) in the Wēnzhōu / Ruìān regional Pure Land community. Lifedates not preserved.
