Ruònà (Skt. Jñāna; 若那) was a Tang-period translator-monk recorded in the DILA Buddhist Studies Person Authority Database (A000870) on the strength of a single attested translation: the Fódǐng zūnshèng tuóluóní bié-fǎ 佛頂尊勝陀羅尼別法 (KR6j0157 T974F) — an alternate-practice manual for the Uṣṇīṣa-vijaya-dhāraṇī.
Beyond this single attribution no biographical details are preserved in the canonical bibliographies (no entry in the Sòng gāosēng zhuàn or in Zhìshēng’s Kāiyuán shìjiào lù); his dates and biographical context cannot be reconstructed with confidence. The Tang-period assignation is conventional and rests on the place of his single translation within the Tang Esoteric Uṣṇīṣa-vijaya corpus that supplements the canonical Buddhapāli, Dù Xíngyǐ, and Yìjìng / Amoghavajra translations.
Distinct from the contemporary Jñānaśrī 智嚴 (智嚴) and from the Sòng-period Dharmadeva 法天 (法天) of Magadha, whose names also begin with the Jñāna-element.
