Yīnglián 英廉 (1707–1783), zì Jìliù 計六, hào Mèngtáng 夢堂, posthumous name Wénsù 文肅, of the Hànjūn (Chinese-martial) Plain Yellow Banner Féng 馮 family. A jǔrén of Yōngzhèng 10 (1732), he held a long succession of progressively senior offices under Qiánlóng, including Hùbù shàngshū 戶部尚書, Liǎngjiāng zǒngdū 兩江總督 (JiāngnánJiāngxī Governor-General), and ultimately Dōnggé dàxuéshì jiān Xíngbù shìwù 東閣大學士兼刑部事務. He was a senior figure in the late-Qiánlóng court for hydraulic and fiscal administration, and was named to the zǒngzǎi leadership of the Sìkù quánshū compilation; his name appears at the head of the biǎo of presentation of the Qīndìng Rìxià jiùwén kǎo 欽定日下舊聞考 (KR2k0036) in 1783, the year of his death. He is the maternal grandfather of the late-Qīng statesman Yǐlìbù 伊里布. CBDB c_personid 57402 (a second, undated entry under c_personid 456110 likely refers to a homonym).
