Fàn Zhìmíng 范致明 (fl. Yuánfú 1098–1100; jìnshì 1099, per CBDB 12975 with index year 1070), Huìshū 晦叔, native of Jiànān 建安 in Mǐn (modern Fújiàn). Northern-Sòng official; jìnshì under Zhézōng. Subsequently banished under Huīzōng to Yuèzhōu 岳州 (Yuèyáng) where he served as Xuāndé láng with concurrent supervision of commercial taxation; during that exile (early Chóngníng / Dàguān, ca. 1102–1110) he composed the Yuèyáng fēngtǔ jì 岳陽風土記 (KR2k0110) — a critical kǎozhèng-style topographical monograph correcting inherited errors in the Tàipíng huányǔ jì, Tōngdiǎn, and Shuǐjīng zhù. Otherwise undocumented; CBDB has no birth/death years.
