Yè Fēng 葉封 (1623–1687), zì Jǐngshū 井叔, of Huángzhōu 黃州 (modern Huánggāng, Húběi), was an early-Qing official and jīnshí scholar. Jìnshì of Shùnzhì jǐhài (1659), he served as magistrate of Dēngfēng 登封 (Hénán, in the southern Sōngshān 嵩山 region) during the Kāngxī guǐchǒu (1673), where he compiled his Sōngyáng shíkè jíjì 嵩陽石刻集記 KR2n0041 (the work’s title takes “Sōngyáng” because Dēngfēng lies south of Sōngshān). He rose to gōngbù Yúhéngsī zhǔshì 工部虞衡司主事 (Manager in the Yúhéng Bureau of Public Works). Wáng Shìzhēn’s 王士禎 Cánwěi jí 蠶尾集 commemorates him as “skilled in Ěryǎ and Shuōwén glosses, expert in zhuànlì” and contemporaries compared him to Liú Yuánfǔ 劉原父 and Xuē Shànggōng 薛尚功. He also compiled the 21-juan Sōngshān zhì 嵩山志 (gazetteer of Mt. Sōng). CBDB 73061 confirms 1623–1687.
