Cāng Jié 蒼頡 (also 倉頡), legendary scribe of the Yellow Emperor 黃帝 and conventional inventor of Chinese characters. Falsely credited as the original compiler of KR1a0163 Qián Kūn záo dù — an attribution the Qiánlóng emperor and Sìkù editors firmly reject as a Sòng-period fabrication.
