Cài Shànjì 蔡善繼
Late-Míng literatus and lay Buddhist associate of Méicūn jūshì Zhāng Shǒuyuē 梅村居士張守約. Lifedates and full biographical details unrecorded. Second preface-writer for Zhāng’s Nǐ Hánshān shī KR6q0217. His preface notes the substantial scope of Zhāng’s larger poetic corpus (several thousand pieces imitating a wide range of classical poets beyond the preserved Hánshān imitations).
Note: The Kanripo catalog labels 蔡善繼’s dynasty as 唐 (Táng), which appears to be a catalog error propagated from the adjacent 守禮 entry — Cài Shànjì is a Míng figure.
