Shūxiāng jūshì 蔬香居士 (“the Layman of Vegetable-Fragrance Studio”) is the hào of an unidentified Republican-period (Mínguó) scholar who prefaced the 1925 reprinting of Zhōu Zhèn 周震’s Qīng paediatric handbook Yòukē zhǐnán 幼科指南 (KR3ej016) on behalf of his contemporary, Hénglú zhǔrén 衡廬主人 (“the Master of the Hengshan-cottage”). The preface is dated 民國十四年歲次乙丑孟夏月 = 1925 fourth lunar month. The personal names of both Shūxiāng jūshì and Hénglú zhǔrén are not known.
