Xiāo Zhuórú 蕭琢如, zì Bózhāng 伯章, hào Dùnyuán 遯園 (“the Retreat Garden”), 1860–1932, native of Xiāngxiāng 湘鄉 (Húnán). A late-Qīng / Republican Húnán scholar-official-physician who held official posts in Húnán mining (his 1922 preface to KR3ep068 Dùnyuán yīàn was written at the Shuǐkǒushān 水口山 Mining Bureau) and educational administration while maintaining a parallel clinical practice. Studied medicine under his cross-cousin Hòushēng Péng xiānshēng 厚生彭先生. He is a principal twentieth-century Shānghán classicist in the Húnán medical tradition, with a strongly liùjīng (six-channel) doctrinal orientation and unusually robust use of Fùzǐ and Gānjiāng relative to contemporary Jiāng-Zhè-school physicians. His clinical rhetorical signature was the dictum “仲景而後無完醫” (“after Zhòngjǐng there has been no complete physician”). Not in CBDB.
