Xiāo Lìzhī 蕭立之 (b. 1203, alive into the early Yuán; conventional fl. 1259), zì Sīlì 斯立, hào Bīngyá 冰厓 (also written 氷厓), was a late-Sòng poet of Xiāotián 蕭田, Níngdū 寧都 county, Jiāngxī. The catalog occasionally writes his name as the truncated 蕭立 — apparently a transcription error in the SBCK title page reading — but CBDB (35544) and the standard reference works (Sòngrén zhuànjì zīliào suǒyǐn 5: 4040; Wǔdàiyǐlái Yǎnjiū 3: 1974) settle on Xiāo Lìzhī. He earned the jìnshì in Bǎoyòu 7 (1259), per the Jiāngxī tōngzhì 江西通志 xuǎnjǔ zhì 選舉志, and rose to assistant prefect (tōngshǒu 通守), though he never took up that final assignment because of the political and military turbulence of the late Sòng. He was a poet of the Jiāngxī-school 江西派 inheritance, with close ties to Zhào Fán 趙蕃 (Jiànquán 澗泉) and Hán Bū 韓淲 (Zhāngquán 章泉), and to the yímín circles of Xiè Fāngdé 謝枋得 (Diéshān 疊山) and Wú Chéng 吳澄 (Cǎolú 草廬). Luó Lún’s Chénghuà 8 (1472) preface to the Bīngyá shī jí shíyí describes him as one of the foremost southeastern poets of the post-Nándù age. His seven-character regulated piece Dú Wénshān shī 讀文山詩 (reading 文天祥 Wén Tiānxiáng’s poetry) is widely anthologised as a yímín-loyalist statement.
His son Xiāo Shìyún 蕭士贇 (fl. early Yuán) prepared the Lǐ Tàibái shī fēnlèi bǔzhù 李太白詩集分類補注 (an extension of Yáng Qíxián 楊齊賢’s commentary on Lǐ Bái), preserved in the Sìkù quánshū (KR4h division); the descendant Xiāo Yífèng 蕭儀鳳 reprinted the family’s poetry in 1472, the edition photo-reproduced in the Sìbù cóngkān xùbiān. Compiled work by Xiāo in the Kanripo corpus: KR4d0373 Xiāo Bīngyá shī jí shíyí.
