Xiāo Qiān 蕭謙 (zì Zǐyù 子豫), Míng-period scholar of Chángān 長安. Tóngnián 同年 (same-year examination cohort) of Guō Dìngjìng 郭定靜, magistrate of Pīzhōu 邳州 who first recovered the manuscript of the paediatric compendium Yīngtóng bǎiwèn 嬰童百問 (KR3ej006) from his county archives. Xiāo wrote the second preface (xùèr) to the 1506 Zhèngdé printing, the most philologically careful of the three: he expressed open doubt about the conventional attribution to Lǔ Bósì 魯伯嗣, citing the absence of independent evidence (nài wú zuǒ yàn 奈無左驗) and the overlap with material plausibly traceable to Qián Yǐ 錢乙’s lost Yīngrú lùn bǎipiān. Lifedates and exam record uncertain in the standard biographical sources.
