Wèi Jīng 衛涇 (1159–1226, Qīngshū 清叔, successively hào Zhuōzhāi 拙齋 → Xīyuán 西園 → Hòulè 後樂 — the last from Fàn Zhòngyān’s Yuèyánglóu jì), of Huátíng 華亭 (modern Sōngjiāng); settled at Kūnshān 崑山. Jìnshì zhuàngyuán (1st place) of Chúnxī 11 (1184). Held office to Cānzhī zhèngshì and Qiānshū Shūmìyuàn shì; ennobled as Qín guógōng 秦國公; canonized Wénjié 文節. Sòngshǐ did not give him a biography (the Sìkù editors note this omission). Opposed Hán Tuōzhòu 韓侂胄’s 1206 Kāixǐ běifá on strategic grounds; demoted in 1208; retired at Shípǔ Xīyuán for ten years during Hán’s domination.
