Jiàndēng (Zhī) 見登(之) (active Tang), Tang or Korean Buddhist scholar-monk (the catalog meta lists him under 新羅 / Silla, while DILA A000543 lists him as Tang; this disagreement is unresolved). Author of [[KR6e0114|Huáyán yī chéng chéng fó miào yì 華嚴一乘成佛妙義]] (T1890, the Wonderful Doctrine of the Buddhahood-Attainment of the One-Vehicle of the Huáyán) and the Qǐxìn lùn tóng yì jí 起信論同異集 (X759). The honorific zhī 之 may be a graphic variant or honorific suffix to the personal name Jiàndēng. Birth and death dates not preserved.
