Xiè Yīngcái 謝應材 (hào Suìqiáo 邃喬, fl. late Qiánlóng – Jiāqìng, 清), Qīng-period scholar-physician trained in both internal and external medicine. Founder of a three-generation family practice (sons Dōnghuán 東環 and Dōngkuí 東揆 continued his clinical work). His method, distinguishing fābèi 發背 and duìkǒu 對口 carbuncles by zuǒyòu shàngxià 左右上下 (left / right / upper / lower), sè zhī chìbái 色之赤白, and mài zhī fúchén 脈之浮沉, was edited and printed posthumously by his grandsons in Dàoguāng 20 (1840) as KR3ek043 Fābèi duìkǒu zhìjué lùn 發背對口治訣論. The therapeutic core of the work is shēngyáng sànhuǒ 升陽散火 with zhì gāncǎo 制甘草 as sovereign drug. Known only through his grandson’s preface; lifedates not documented. Not in CBDB.
