Jiǎ Míng 賈茗, styled Jìngfēn 靚芬, from Gǔ Wú 古吳 (the Sūzhōu region of Jiāngsū), was a Qīng dynasty female literata (nǚshǐ 女史) and the compiler of Nǚ Liáozhāi Zhìyì 女聊齋志異 (KR4k0189). She is described in the work’s prefatory material as a great admirer of Pǔ Sōnglíng 蒲松齡 (author of Liáozhāi Zhìyì KR3l0130) and assembled her anthology of tales about remarkable women explicitly in homage to his model. The nǚshǐ 女史 honorific designates her as a woman of letters and learning. No biographical information beyond the work’s own paratexts — native place, birth and death dates, family background, or examination/official connections — has been identified. She is not present in CBDB with confidence.
