Late-Yuán literatus of Tiāntái 天台 (Zhèjiāng). Shànqīng 善卿. Life-dates not recorded. He is known principally as the compiler of the KR4h0088 Dàyǎ jí 大雅集 (1361–1362), for which he travelled WúYuè soliciting verse from contemporary regional poets and amassed 2,000-plus poems; the celebrated late-Yuán poet Yáng Wéizhēn 楊維楨 (Tiěyǎ dàorén) edited the corpus down to 300 pieces in 8 juǎn. The funding came from the Sōngjiāng literatus Xiè Lǚzhāi 謝履齋. No other works under Lài’s name are transmitted.
