Zhào Dé 趙悳
A Sòng royal-house member (Sòng zōngshì 宋宗室). Passed the jìnshì in the Sòng. After the Yuán conquest withdrew into reclusion at Dōnghú 東湖 in Yùzhāng 豫章 (modern Nánchāng, Jiāngxī). Lifedates not recoverable.
Author of Shī biàn shuō 詩辨說 in 1 juǎn, transmitted as an appendix to Zhū Zhuō’s Shī yíwèn (KR1c0031) on the editorial logic — preserved in the Sìkù tíyào — that “Zhū Zhuō was a zhōngliè and Zhào Dé a gāoyǐn; their personal characters complement each other, so later editors put the two works together.” The work is otherwise rare; Zhū Mùjué’s Shòujīng tú and Jiāo Hóng’s Jīngjí zhì both record the combined edition (in 6 juǎn, against the 7 juǎn of the Sìkù base).
