Dámóduōluó 達摩多羅 (*Dharmatrāta, “Saved-by-the-Dharma”), Indian Sarvāstivāda yogācāra master of Kashmir. The preface to [[KR6i0255|Dámóduōluó chán jīng (T618)]] — preserved in [[KR6s0084|Chū sānzàng jì jí]] and composed by 慧遠 — identifies him together with Buddhasena as one of the two principal masters of the meditation tradition transmitted by 佛陀跋陀羅 (Buddhabhadra) to Lúshān. He is not to be confused with Dharmatrāta the Sarvāstivāda abhidharma commentator, nor with the much later Chán-historiographical figure 菩提達摩 (Bodhidharma).
