達觀

Zǐbǎi Dáguān 紫柏達觀 (1543–1603, lay name Zhēnkě 真可), late-Míng Chán master. One of the Míngmò sìdà gāosēng 明末四大高僧 (“four great monks of the late Míng”) together with 祩宏 Yúnqī Zhūhóng, 德清 Hānshān Déqīng, and 智旭 Ǒuyì Zhìxù. Principal sponsor of the Jiāxīngzàng 嘉興藏 Buddhist canon publishing project; died in prison in Beijing during the yāoshū affair.
