Xíng Zǎi 邢縡

Mid-Táng court figure (d. 752), son of 邢璹 Xíng Shù. Implicated in the 752 (Tiānbǎo 11) rebellion plot also involving Wáng Hàn 王銲 (brother of 王鉷 Wáng Hóng); executed when the plot was uncovered. The execution is the occasion on which the Tángshū (in the Wáng Hóng zhuàn 王鉷傳) records that his father Xíng Shù ended his career as Hónglú shǎoqīng 鴻臚少卿 — the only piece of biographical evidence we have for Xíng Shù’s late career.
