Guō Yuánfǔ 郭元釪 (d. 1722, Zǐshàng 子尚), of Jiāngdū 江都 (Yángzhōu prefecture, Jiāngsū). Early-Kāngxī scholar, principal compiler of the Quán Jīn shī 全金詩 — the imperial supplement to Yuán Hǎowèn’s Zhōngzhōu jí 中州集. The Kāngxī preface to KR4h0144 Yùdìng Quán Jīn shī zēngbǔ Zhōngzhōu jí records Guō’s own zòuzhé (memorial): in his youth at home he was fond of poetry, read Yuán Hǎowèn’s Zhōngzhōu jí, and noted its incomplete coverage. From his middle years he gathered Jīn poems missing from the Zhōngzhōu jí, drawing on jùnxiàn zhì (prefectural-county gazetteers) — finally producing a quán Jīn shī draft on his own. He submitted this to the Kāngxī court, which ordered it formally edited under imperial supervision; the resulting Yùdìng Quán Jīn shī (1711) is the standard imperial Jīn-poetry compilation, vastly larger than Yuán Hǎowèn’s original (6 times the juǎn-count, 3 times the poet-count, 2 times the poem-count). The Kāngxī edict explicitly retained Guō Yuánfǔ’s name at the head of the table-of-contents — the Sìkù tíyào notes this as a mark of imperial-magnanimity. Guō also participated in the Yùxuǎn SòngJīnYuánMíng sìcháo shī KR4h0143 editorial team — though there as one lùxuǎn guān among many. CBDB id 87464; death-date 1722 from CBDB; no birth-date recorded.
