Guō Qìngfān 郭慶藩 (1844–1896), zì Zǐ jìng 子瀞 / Mèng chún 孟純, was a late-Qīng classical philologist of Xiāng yīn 湘陰 (Húnán), nephew of Guō Sōng tāo 郭嵩燾. His Zhuāng zǐ jí shì 莊子集釋 (1894) — KR5c0386 — is the standard critical edition of the Zhuāng zǐ, gathering and collating the Guō Xiàng 郭象 commentary, Chéng Xuán yīng 成玄英 subcommentary, Lù Démíng 陸德明 phonology, and the accumulated emendations of Qīng philologists (Wáng Niànsūn 王念孫, Yú Yuè 俞樁, Sūn Yíràng 孫詒讓, Guō Sōngtāo 郭嵩燾, and his own Zǐ jìng àn yǔ 子瀞案語). Guō’s Jí shì has remained the working text of Zhuāng zǐ scholarship ever since, republished in the Zhōng huá shū jú Xīn biān zhū zǐ jí chéng 新編諸子集成.
