Zhèng Zōngyán 鄭宗顏 (Northern Sòng, dates unknown), a Wáng Ānshí 王安石 follower in the Reform school. According to Cháo Gōngwǔ’s 晁公武 Jùnzhāi dúshū zhì 郡齋讀書志 (cited in the Sìkù tíyào of KR1d0004 Zhōuguān xīnyì), Wáng Ānshí had not himself completed an annotation of the Kǎogōngjì 考工記 portion of the Zhōulǐ; Zhèng Zōngyán compiled the surviving two-juan Kǎogōngjì jiě 考工記解 by extracting Wáng’s Zì shuō 字說 (graphological lexicon) glosses on the technical vocabulary and arranging them as commentary, in order to fill the lacuna. The work circulates as the appendix to Zhōuguān xīnyì in the Sìkù presentation.
