Sòng-period monk credited as compiler of the Dìzàng cíbēi jiùkǔ jiànfú lìshēng dào-chǎng yí 地藏慈悲救苦薦福利生道場儀 KR6v0064, a four-fascicle Buddhist liturgical manual based on the Dìzàng púsà běn-yuàn jīng 地藏菩薩本願經 (T13n0412, trans. Śikṣānanda 實叉難陀). Note: this attribution is not secure — the famous Sòng Vinaya master Língzhī Yuán-zhào 靈芝元照 (1048–1116, of the Tiāntái-Lǜ school) is widely known but not closely associated with Dìzàng-rituals; the catalog meta gives only “Sòng” without further qualification. The ritual was preserved and used in the Āzhālì 阿吒力 ritual lineage of Yúnnán from at least the early Qīng (the surviving witness is a Kāngxī 康熙 37 = 1698 manuscript copy held by Zhào Wénhuàn 趙文煥). Whether this Yuán-zhào is the famous Vinaya master, a different Sòng monk, or a pseudo-attribution from the Yúnnán Āzhālì lineage to lend canonical authority to a regionally-composed liturgy is unresolved.

Famous Northern-Sòng Buddhist Vinaya master of the TiāntáiLǜ 天台律 school (the later Lǜjiāo 律教). Native of Yúháng 餘杭 (modern Hángzhōu). Initially studied under the Vinaya master Yǔnkān 允堪 (1005–1061) of the Nánshānlǜ 南山律 lineage; later established his own teaching at Língzhīsì 靈芝寺 in Hángzhōu (whence his style Língzhī Yuánzhào 靈芝元照). Granted the title Dàzhì 大智 by Sòng Huīzōng 徽宗. His major works on Vinaya — Sìfēn lǜ xíngshìchāo zīchí jì 四分律行事鈔資持記 (T40n1805’s ) and Sìfēn lǜ jiémó shū jì 四分律羯磨疏記 (T40n1808’s ) — became canonical for late-imperial Chinese Buddhist Vinaya scholarship. He is also a key figure in the Pure Land (jìngtǔ 淨土) revival of the late-Northern-Sòng. Whether the Dìzàng ritual KR6v0064 is genuinely his is uncertain.
