Shì Dàguī 釋大圭 (Yuán, fl. Zhìzhèng 1355), zì Héngbái 恆白. Lay surname Liào 廖. Native of Jìnjiāng 晉江 (Quánzhōu, Fújiàn). In Zhì-zhèng-era resided at the Zǐyúnsì 紫雲寺 in Quánzhōu. Original collection 24 juǎn: 1 juǎn Mèngfǎ + 1 juǎn Mèngjì + 1 juǎn Mèngshì (all zōngmén yǔlù) + 6 juǎn shī + 15 juǎn wén. The Sìkùguǎn removed the zōngmén yǔlù (as not properly belonging to a biéjí) and most of the qīngcí shūyǐn prose (Shìjiā běnsè — properly Buddhist liturgy not literature), retaining only the 6 juǎn shī (reduced to 5 in the WYG block). Wú Jiàn’s 吳鑒 original xù characterizes Dàguī’s verse as “yīnghuá shíxiāngfù — cí dá ér yì dào — bùdiāolòu ér gōng — qù zǎnzǔ ér lì — píng gēngchú ér xiù.” The Sìkù tíyào compares the surviving verse to Fàn Chéngdà (Shíhú) and Lù Yóu (Jiànnán) “Shíhú Jiànnán zhī yúfēng” — preserved “yú fāngyǐwài” (in the fāngyǐwài = outside-the-cardinal-quarters = monastic) realm.
