Sòng-period Chinese Buddhist monk, “long-resident lecturer” (chángjiǎng shāmén 長講沙門) at the Huìjué-sì 慧覺寺 in Méiyáng 眉陽 (modern Méishān 眉山, Sìchuān). Compiler of the Léng-yán jiě-yuān shì-jié dào-chǎng yí 楞嚴解冤釋結道場儀 KR6v0063, a Buddhist liturgical manual based on the Śūraṃgama-sūtra 大佛頂首楞嚴經, in eight fascicles. The text uses the Zhènghé 政和 reign-name (1111–1118), placing the work no earlier than the late Northern Sòng. Almost nothing else is known of his life — Fāng Guǎngchāng and Hóu Chōng’s editorial preface explicitly states that his biography is unrecoverable. The ritual was preserved and continued in active use among the Āzhālì 阿吒力 lineage of Yúnnán well into the Qīng.
